Recently, 2AM members were guest-featured on ‘Radio Star‘ and revealed for the first time the full list of of current non-JYP idols that had gone through the JYP system.
During the episode, MCs asked, “What song by other idols do you want the most?” Jo Kwon selected 2NE1‘s “I Am The Best”. He then added, “CL was once a JYP trainee”, surprising the MCs on set. Fellow member Seulong added, “The reason as to why she was kicked out of JYP is a mystery within the company.”
The members also revealed that IU was also a former JYP trainee. “J.Y. Park hit the ground in regret,” the boys stated. “He said that he was going to find out who had gotten rid of IU.”
In addition, 2AM revealed that B2ST’s Yoon Doojoon, KARA’s Goo Hara, SISTAR’s Hyorin, and Secret’s Song Jieun were also former JYP trainees.
