2012.03.08
Big Bang is showing off their great potential as they draw much interest from their domestic and international fans. With the release of their fifth mini-album ‘Alive’ on February 29, the group has been dominating various music sites, as well as offline charts.
After the news of the release of Big Bang’s new album they have surpassed 250,000 pre-orders followed by additional orders. Especially with the attention of large number of international fans the album has been requested overseas.
YG Entertainment shared, “Big Bang’s fifth mini-album had 250,000 copies pre-ordered out of which 150,000 has been sold out and 100,000 were requested from overseas.”
“We have put in additional orders. This is the result of fan’s eager interest. It’s unique to have all the title tracks so equally loved and also to have such large number of album sales.”
This is extraordinary result as music fans have changed their method of consuming music towards single tracks rather than purchasing a full album. The group is already off to a smooth successful comeback through their songs, album and concerts.
Big Bang will have their comeback in SBS ‘Inkigayo’ on March 11. Also will soon embark on their world tour ‘2012 BIGBANG ALIVE TOUR’ to 25 cities in 16 countries.
