Recently, Adidas has embarked on a new campaign called "All Originals Make Moves" and leader-roo CL has made a special rap for their advertisement video.
Adidas has got both CL and Kim Jin Pyo to create rap lyrics for their campaign. Both versions have been released on Youtube and on cable TV in Korea.
The video portrays the lifestyle of young people in the city as they "make moves" and both CL and Kim Jin Pyo had personally written the raps with their honest thoughts on the theme of the campaign.
Check out what Adidas had to say about CL's version!:
An original girl group with a distinctive musical talent, strong personality and style. Leaders of fashion and popular music.
2NE1's Leader CL's voice unique rap and voice that is full of confidence fits the Adidas Make Moves video perfectly.
And this is Kim Jin Pyo's version:
Adidas is also planning a series of events as a part of the Make Moves campaign. The first event, launched just a few hours ago, asked Korean netizens to vote for which version they thought fit the campaign better, which will then earn them a chance to win an Adidas Originals ZX sneaker! Unfortunately, voting's only open to those with Naver accounts. (Those lucky Korean Naver members!!)
Well what do you think? Was it CL's powerful, attractive rap and charming voice, or Kim Jin Pyo's distinctive bass and hip-hop style that brings across the Make Moves campaign message best?
