Big Bang's Seungri has decided to drop out of his college, Chungang University.
According to YG Entertainment on March 8, "Seungri attended Chungang University up until last year and dropped out. He was unable to fully carry on his studies due to his busy schedules."
"He received a lot of academic warnings because he wasn't performing up to standards of the university since he was busy with appearances with the other members of Big Bang. It seems that he thought leaving school was the best choice," the agency added.
Seungri began attending Chungang University in 2010. His classmates included Girls Generation Yuri and actress Hong In Young. Still, Seungri is determined to pursue his education and decided to continue his studies by enrolling at Gukje Digital University. He has chosen this path as he could take classes online while he attends to his schedules.
Meanwhile, Big Bang recently released their comeback album ‘Alive‘ and held their opening concerts in Seoul for their "Alive Tour." The group will kick off their first comeback performance on SBS "Inkigayo" on March 11th.
