Hip hop group M.I.B member Kangnam will be taking on a new challenge and will make his debut on the small screen through tvN's upcoming sitcom "21st-Century Family." The new sitcom is helmed by famed producer Song Chang Ui, the man behind popular 90's sitcom "Three Men and Three Girls."
According to M.I.B's agency Jungle Entertainment, Kangnam will play the role of an exchange student from Japan who attends Korea's pretigious KAIST university. The sitcom revolves around the story of a modern family surrounding a middle-aged man named Deokhwa.
For his first role in a sitcom, Kangnam stated, "I am really nervous since this is my first acting role. But I hope to show the audience a whole different side of outside the music stage."
Meanwhile, M.I.B is currently busy preparing for their comeback slated in the end of March.
