YG Entertainment's most representative groups, Big Bang and 2NE1, are not only representative of Korea's top groups, but Japan's as well.

Big Bang and 2NE1, who simultaneously released new albums in Japan on March 28th, have both jumped up to hit 1st and 2nd place on the Japan iTunes Album chart. Additionally, girl group KARA placed 4th with ‘Speed Up / Girls Power’.

Both groups also debuted in the top tier of Oricon charts. Big Bang secured the #2 and 2NE1 the #4 position on the Oricon Daily Album chart for March 28th.
