KARA is very proud to be the first Korean artiste to have their own premium fragrance line. 

The launch of K5J marks the successful end to an exciting adventure for the group which started with a trip to Paris in the summer of 2011. In Paris, Gyuri, Seungyeon, Hara, Nicole and Jiyoung met with French perfumers and designers to handpick their signature fragrance and personally review the design concepts for their perfume. On the final day of their memorable trip, the girls chose the name ‘K5J’ – which stands for KARA 5 JEWEL – to remind them that the perfume is a special jewel that the five of them created together. 

KARA wanted their fragrance to be truly special and created K5J to bring them even closer to their fans. The girls hope that when their fans wear K5J, they too will catch a whiff of the glittering sunshine and happiness of Paris that went into creating KARA's first-ever signature fragrance.
