Rumors of Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, Tiffany and Jessica forming Girls’ Generation’s first ever sub-unit have been spreading like wildfire in the K-Pop industry. It began to spin around various social networking services and other online communities.
The rumor sparked on April 11th from a message board of a music publishing company. The website posted, “Our music producer’s song has been confirmed for the album of Girls’ Generation’s unit (Taeyeon, Tiffany, Jessica) and we currently arranging it.”
The music publishing company is well known for having strong ties with SM Entertainment and has worked with Girls’ Generation, SHINee, DBSK, and Super Junior.
In response, SM Entertainment stated on April 12th, “Nothing has been specifically confirmed yet,” neither denying nor confirming the rumor.
