NU’EST is rising up as a boy group not like any other.

NU’EST, with members JR, Aron, Baekho, Minhyun and Ren, first drew attention with the members’ good looks, but soon made it into the top ranks of music charts in just a month since its debut with its powerful performances and stable vocals, gaining recognition by officials and the public.

Through its debut single Face, the group sang out a message that called for a stop to school violence and social problems, letting a wide range of people from different age groups relate to the lyrics.

Online websites and social networks are seeing a flood of comments about the lyrics of Face and the story contained in its music video, reading, ‘It’s new and cool’ and ‘It’s definitely different from other groups’.

NU’EST responded, “We’re thankful for the great interest. Through various promotions we underwent before our debut, we got to meet continuously with our fans. Because we could match what all of us wanted through the communication with our fans, we believe we were able to garner more popularity in such a short time although we’re rookies.”

NU’EST recently walked the runway of Seoul Fashion Week, and the members also showcased their cute charms previously unseen onstage through a reality program.
