JYJ’s Park Yoochun and actress Park Shin Hye have been confirmed to receive the ‘Popularity Award’ for the upcoming 48th Baeksang Arts Awards. The awards event is scheduled to take place at Seoul Olympic Park on April 26th.

Park Yoochun from MBC TV drama “Miss. Ripley”, was voted number one in a popularity poll for the Baeksang Arts Awards - TV Male Category. This vote was carried out from March 23rd through April 23rd.

Yoochun received 53.8% as of midnight 24th. This is 9.3% more than his fellow JYJ member Kim Jaejoong from SBS TV drama “Protect the Boss.”

On the other hand, actress Park Shin Hye from the MBC TV drama “Heartstrings” was voted for the most popular TV female star, beating T-ara’s Jiyeon from KBS 2TV drama “Dream High 2.”

Meanwhile, Jang Geun Suk was voted for most popular Movie star male, and Kang Sora for female.
