Rock band CNBLUE will be releasing their recent “MTV Unplugged” performance in a DVD this coming June.
Previously, CNBLUE became the first South Korean artist to ever performed in “MTV Unplugged”. The members were invited to perform and shoot the episode at Billboard Live Tokyo on January 31st.
Approximately 15,000 fans applied for the ticket to watch the recording, which was about 100 times more than the 150 seats prepared by MTV. During the show, CNBLUE heated the stage and performed 12 songs.
According to CNBLUE’s official Japanese website, all 12 tracks on this recording will be included in the released DVD. The DVD will be released on June 27th, and will be available in two different versions-- normal edition and limited edition, which will include Live Audio CD of the recording.
