It has been belatedly revealed that Big Bang’s G-Dragon was a previous trainee under SM Entertainment.
The news has been revealed through cable channel Mnet ‘Wide Entertainment News’ on May 8 which discusses behind-the-scene stories of top stars including G-Dragon, Song Joong Ki, Park Hae Il, Lee Jae Hoon, Yoo Jae Suk, Shin Min Ah, 4minute’s Hyuna, and fifteen other stars.
Viewers were most taken aback by the fact that Big Bag’s G-Dragon who is currently under YG Entertainment was a trainee under SM Entertainment for 5 years. G-Dragon has joined SM at 8 years old and has trained hard to fulfill his dream to become a singer. However, ironically, he debuted with the competitor and known rival YG.
In addition, Song Joong Ki almost debuted with an idol group instead of an actor. He was casted on the street, and Song Joong Ki made his debut into the entertainment world and is currently acting through SidusHQ. Upon further research, the staff members found that the company that first discovered Song Joong Ki was a label that focused around training singers. After deciding that he had no talent in singing and dancing, he left the company to pursue acting.
