Singer Lee Hyori will be releasing her very own essay book!

On May 24th, Lee Hyori will release a book titled “Closer: The Story of Hyori and Soon Shim.” This book will contain the stories about Lee Hyori’s pet dog Soon Shim and four companion dogs. Anecdotes and episodes of their everyday lives, and her histories to be actively involved in a campaign for animal rights will be included as well. All of this will be written by Lee Hyori herself in her own special and honest way.

The K-pop diva also talks about the changes she went through to become a leader for a campaign for animal rights and to become a vegetarian. The socialtainer gives a speech on a better life for everyone.

The book includes photos taken by Lee Hyori herself and photographer Kim Tae Eun, known as an animal lover. The entire proceeds of this book will be donated to an animal protection organization called, “KARA” (Korea Animal Rights Advocates).
