Temporary educator and Olympic figure skating champion Kim Yuna received carnations, traditionally a mark of respect, on Tuesday as Korea celebrated Teacher’s Day.
Kim Yuna began her four-week teaching assignment at Jinseon Girls’ High School in Gangnam, Seoul, on May 8 as one of the requirements of her degree in physical education at Korea University.
Kim Yuna, who is now in her fourth and final year at the university, uploaded a number of pictures on her website showing off her new above-the-shoulder haircut as she celebrated Teacher’s Day with her students and mentor teacher.
