It has been revealed that SM Entertainment will not be casting anyone from SBS’ audition program, ‘K-Pop Star’.

According to a representative from SM Entertainment on May 22nd, “Unfortunately, SM decided not to sign a contract with any of the finalists from ‘K-Pop Star’. We will focus on our already existing trainees.”

Earlier, ‘K-Pop Star’ grand winner, Park Ji Min was confirmed to had signed an exclusive contract with JYP Entertainment alongside finalists Baek Ah Yeon and Park Jae Hyung. On the other hand, Lee Seung Hoon and Lee Hayi are rumored to be discussing signing with YG Entertainment.
