The release date of Hollywood blockbuster movie “G.I. Joe: Retaliation”, featuring actor Lee Byung Hun, has been postponed to March 2013.

On May 24th, U.S. Deadline Hollywood reported that the “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” premiere date had been pushed back from its original June 29 premiere date to a tentatively scheduled March 29, 2013.

The report stated that the studio executive made the decision due to its plan on converting and releasing the movie in 3-D as well. The movie’s producer quoted on saying, “3D films can better box office internationally.”
