Nation’s MC Yoo Jae Suk might have to buy a brand new car for IU.
On the May 27th episode of SBS’s ‘Running Man’, singer IU and Manchester United’s Park Ji Sung appeared as guests for Superpower Soccer competition and Incheon race.
After the soccer match, the cast members headed to a sushi restaurant for some breakfast. At the restaurant, HaHa mentioned, “It was IU’s birthday recently. She’s going to get her driver’s license soon so I think it’ll be perfect if Yoo Jae Suk bought her a car.”
The troubled Yoo Jae Suk replied, “Let’s collect 10,000,000 KRW (approximately $8,400 USD) each!” IU later surprised the MC by saying, “I’ll put it to good use.”
Yoo Jae Suk then asked Park Ji Sung, “What are you going to buy for IU?” to which the soccer player wittily replied, “I’ll buy her a seat cover for the new car.”
Netizens commented, “Our IU needs a car”, “Poor Yoo Jae Suk”, “I want to ride in the car IU drives” and more.
