Hallyu band FT Island recently completed their successful first concert in Taiwan.

FT Island held their ‘Play! FT Island in Taipei’ as part of their ‘Play! FT Island’ concert tour on May 26th in Taipei, Taiwan and impressed over 8,000 fans. The band proved their overwhelming popularity as the tickets for the concert were snapped up in about ten minutes after going on sale last March 24.

During the event, FT Island performed over 20 hit songs including, “I Hope”, “Love Love Love”, “Neverland” and “I Confess.” The group also received an explosive response by singing their previous hits “Severely” and “Like the Birds” as encores.

Taiwanese fans surprised the group by holding up placards during their encore performance to congratulate FT Island for their fifth year anniversary.

The group remarked, “We are truly thankful for your passion and for the event. We were also very impressed and happy by the surprise event. We will work harder as repayment for the love we received from our fans.”
