After receiving a total of 12 trophies from televised music programs, Girls’ Generation’s first sub-unit group, TaeTiSeo is about to wrap up promotional activities this weekend, on the June 3rd broadcast of SBS ‘Inkigayo’.

Promoting their new song “Twinkle”, TaeTiSeo has swept all the trophies in different music programs. The unit seized #1 for three consecutive weeks on MBC Music’s ‘Show! Champion’, Mnet’s ‘M! Countdown’, KBS ‘Music Bank’ and SBS ‘Inkigayo’. There have been many other unit groups to spin off from the main group, but this is the first time a unit has earned a triple-crown in all music programs.

A representative from SM Entertainment remarked, “TaeTiSeo was recognized and was able to have a long run with ‘Twinkle’ because the music, choreography and visual concept of the song was all well-organized to complement one another.”

TaeTiSeo shared, “As TaeTiSeo, we focused on our singing rather than the charismatic choreography.” They added, “The staff at SM actively supported us and the other members playfully got jealous of us.”
