SS501's Kim Kyu Jong sends a letter to his fans and announces his enlistment in the army this coming July. On his letter to his fans he said, "It has been a while since I wrote a letter and the reason im doing this is because I want to inform you myself that I will be enlisting in the army this July".

He continued, "Im really happy for all the love and support you have given me and for sharing a lot of happy memories. I really had fun in my 20's. I have always told myself to give back to you as you have given me so many and I want to share beautiful memories. I will be gone for 2 years but I promise to be back to meet you".

Kim Kyu Jong will be having his fan meeting before he will enlist in the army, he will be meeting his fans this 3rd of June at the Yonsei University in Seoul. Kim Kyu Jong ended his letter by saying, "Thank you thank you so much". He is the first member of SS501 to enlist in the army and by standard procedure he will be receiving 4 weeks basic military training as he enlists this July.
