Over 7,000 JYJ fans from Japan are expected to visit South Korea for JYJ’s upcoming ‘Membership Week’ event.
According to C-JeS Entertainment on June 13, “JYJ’s ‘2012 JYJ Membership Week’ will be held at SETEC in Seoul for four days starting the 28th. Over 7,000 Japanese fans will be crossing over to Korea to attend. This will be the largest amount of foreigners to enter the country for a single-day event.”
‘2012 JYJ Membership Week’ is a specially prepared large-scale fan service event, exposition and fan meeting by C-Jes Entertainment for JYJ membership holders.
Around 25,000 people, including 15,000 Korean members and 7,024 Japanese members will come to the fair. They will take 116 airplanes from 14 airports in Japan to come to Korea. They have booked over 1,000 hotel rooms in Seoul, Incheon and Suwon.
A representative stated, “15,000 fans did a lottery for the event and 7,024 were chosen. No other Hallyu star has had such a large amount of Japanese fans visit for a single event. JYJ will write a new history for South Korean tourism.”
