Labelmates Super Junior and SHINee have made a terminally ill American girl’s dream come true.
On June 16th, the 15-year old Donica Sterling traveled from New York to South Korea. Sponsored by Herbert Black, the president of American Iron and Metal, Donica visited the country to meet her idols, Super Junior and SHINee.
Donica Sterling is suffering from an incurable disease, which contracts her muscles, and is currently bound on a wheelchair.
On June 17th, Donica visited the set of Super Junior’s new music video in Namyangjoo, Gyeonggi Province. Super Junior members gave her a specially prepared gift package and also performed their song “Sorry Sorry” for the K-pop fan.
Donica also had a chance to meet SHINee in person. She was invited on SM Entertainment office on June 20th. SHINee members gave her dolls, albums and photobook as well as performed her favorite song, “Ring Ding Dong.”
