Actors Song Seung Hun, Lee Bum Soo and JYJ Kim Jaejoong’s MBC weekend drama ‘Dr. Jin’ will be extending two episodes.

The productions claimed on the 12th, “We have all decided to extend two more episodes. We felt it was the right thing to do to finalize the story for completion.” As such, ‘Dr. Jin’ will end in the beginning of August.

Following the news of the extension, the cast of ‘Dr. Jin’ showed their support. Lee Bum Soo said, “It would’ve been better if it was 40 episodes and not 20. This drama is too short.” Song Seung Hun said, “20 episodes is not enough to express the variety of a historical.”

The productions was worried about how the viewers will take to this. ‘Dr. Jin’ was to end on the 29th this month along with ‘A Gentleman’s Dignity’. “It may seem like we are aiming for the absence of ‘A Gentleman’s Dignity’ but that is not so.”
