Actor Kim Soo Hyun has made a deal with the public to wish for his movie ‘The Thieves’ to become a blockbuster.

On July 24th, at the red carpet event for the opening of movie ‘The Thieves, which was held at the Convention and Exhibition Center in Seoul, Kim Soo Hyun promised that he will watch the movie with the audience if the movie gets more than 10 million ticket sales.

MC Kim Bum Ryong prodded Kim Soo Hyun into making a promise with the public to ensure the movie’s success. The actor became a bit hesitant and slurred, “If over 10 million people watch it…”, not being able to finish his sentence.

To this, fellow co-star Kim Yoon Suk joked, “He will carry Jeon Ji Hyun on his back and march around the country.”

Kim Soo Hyun then said, “If more than 10 million people watch it, I will watch the movie carrying the 10 millionth person on my back,” and received cheer from the audience.
