Rookie group MYNAME is kicking off a successful Japanese debut as their first Japanese debut single “Message” ranked ninth on the Oricon Daily Single Chart.

Their agency, H2 Media stated, “MYNAME’s debut single ‘Message’ which was released on July 25, topped the sales chart of Tower Record in Shibuya, Tokyo and also ranked ninth on the Oricon Chart, kicking off a successful Japanese debut.”

MYNAME has teamed up with major record labels, Irving Entertainment and Yoshimoto RNC, which house to Hallyu stars Ryu Siwon, Kwon Sangwoo and Jung Woosung. The agency will help to promote the group in very large scale througout Japan.

H2 Media added, “The members were surprised to hear news that they have ranked within the Top 10 on the Oricon Chart. It’s a bit too early to say that it’s a success with just landing on the daily chart, but we hope to expand ourselves through future promotions.”
