ZE:A member Dongjun has injured his back during MBC’s ‘Idol Star Olympics’.

During the Part 2 of ‘Idol Star Olympics’ which aired on July 26th, Dongjun injured his back while competing in the 110m hurdle race. He slipped from the start of the race, however, his zealous heart took him over the hurdle, causing injury to his back. Despite the pain, he continued the race wobbling to the finish line.

After the race, Dongjun was escorted out by other players and representatives. Due to his injury, he had to unfortunately forfeit the 100 meter dash. Dongjun expressed, “I got hurt because I was so nervous and fired up.” He added, “It’s unfortunate because I was looking forward to participate in the 100 meter dash. I’m sorry.”

Due to Dongjun’s incident, it once again raised the issue of celebrity safety on competitive and athletic variety programs.
