With less than a month before its anticipated premiere, tvN released the second trailer for the upcoming medical drama, “The 3rd Hospital” which features lead cast members Kim Seungwoo, Oh Jiho, Kim Min Jung and Girls’ Generation Sooyoung.
“The 3rd Hospital” is centered on a hospital that practices both Oriental and non-oriental medicine. The drama outlines the competition that took place among neurosurgeons who challenge one another to cure their patients using various western and oriental medical methods.
Sooyoung will play the role of a violist, and along with Kim Minjung, will be involved in a romantic storyline with the two male characters. Oh Jiho will appear as a warm and tender doctor who applied traditional medicine to his patients while Kim Seung Woo will be the coldhearted doctor who puts his trust on modern medicine.
“The 3rd Hospital” is set to begin airing August 22nd at 11 PM KST.
