Singer IU has been receiving several love calls from the drama industry.

A spokesperson for the singer revealed, “IU has received about 10 drama casting offers. We’ve been having positive discussions, but we don’t have a specific plan yet due to her hectic overseas schedules. We’re considering many options.”

IU made her acting debut through KBS 2TV’s drama ‘Dream High’ in 2011. The singer is currently in London to cheer for the Korean athletes at the 2012 London Olympics and will be back to Korea on August 4th.

She will be focusing on her upcoming Japanese concert ‘IU Friendship Special Concert Fall 2012’ to be held at the Tokyo Forum A Hall on September 17. IU has been doing well in Japan with her second single “You And I”, which ranked fourth on the Oricon’s Daily Singles chart.
