Girl’s Day member Yura will be making her local drama debut through the much-anticipated drama series, ‘To the Beautiful You’.

A representative revealed on August 9th that Yura has been confirmed for the series and will play the comical role of Lee Eun Young, a big fan of the high jump athlete Kang Tae Jun (played by SHINee’s Minho).

After concluding her first shooting on July 23, the Girl’s Day member posted on her Twitter, “Filming for the drama is so fun and I think it suits me. If I get to have a chance, I want to work as both a singer and an actress.”

Yura already made her acting debut through the Chinese drama ‘Secret Angel’ starring Jang Woo Hyuk and Kim So Eun which aired through Sohu.com. ‘To the Beautiful You’ marks her first drama series in Korea.
