Psy, who has been on fire with his global hit “Gangnam Style”, is actually in need of water as his heat became a bit too literal.

On August 11th, Psy held his ‘Summer Stand’ solo concert at the Seoul’s Jamsil Olympic Stadium. During his finale performance, a fire broke out on the roof of the concert stage. The ceiling stage light caught fire and fiery debris began falling down the stage.

Attempting to calm the crowd, Psy wittily remarked, “The fire must’ve started because we were having too much fun” and began to sing “I Told You She’s My Girl” until the everything was taken care of.

The fire was put out in about 10 minutes as the staff had a lot of water readily available for the concert. The performance, titled “The Heumppeok Show,” had staff members spray water on the audience during Psy’s performance. (Heumppeok means “heavily drenched” in Korean)
