Actor Lee Jun Ki’s fans from all over the world have donated rice wreaths to wish for the success of the actor’s latest drama.
On August 10th, countless bags of rice were delivered to the press conference of new MBC drama ‘Arang and the Magistrate’ that took place at Grand Ambassador Hotel in Seoul. Rice was flown in from far and wide from Japan, China, Russia, and United States, just to name a few, to celebrate Lee Jun Ki’s return to drama.
To be donated to charities, Lee Jun Ki received 10 tons of rice, enough to feed 86,000 people at once. The actor’s agency stated, “Fans of Lee Jun Ki had begun collecting rice as early as three months ago. Thank you to the fans. We will talk with him about the best way to donate these gifts.”
Meanwhile, ‘Arang and the Magistrate’ will make its premiere on August 15th.
