Singer Lee Seung Chul will be releasing a song to help boost the morale of “Super Star K” contestants, just as the show is set to begin its fourth run.

On August 15th, Mnet announced that Lee Seung Chul will unveil his latest track “Amateur” as wel as its music video at the show’s opening ceremony at Jamsil Indoor Stadium. “Amateur” is a ballad written by Hong Jin Young, who won the Rookie Songwriter Award at ‘2011 Korea Culture Entertainment Awards’ K-POP category.

Lee Seung Chul, who has been a judge on the show since its first season, remarked, “I poured all my love for ‘Superstar K’ in this song. I hope many people will be motivated to take the challenge.”
