Girls’ Generation‘s Hyoyeon was mistaken for a foreigner on the latest episode of KBS’s ‘Invincible Youth 2’.
On the August 18th broadcast, the members of G5 toured Seoul with foreigners, taking them to several best tourist locations that represent Korean culture.
While MC Lee Young Ja, Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon, and Jewelry’s Yewon approached some passerbys to ask for directions, a middle-aged man approached Hyoyeon and asked, “Where are you from?” in English, mistaking her for a foreigner.
HyoYeon was bewildered, and answered “I’m actually a Korean”. The man then playfully pushed the singer and remarked, “Ah, this is embarrassing,” causing everyone to burst into laughter.
