2AM has been appointed as the honorary ambassadors for the ‘DMZ International Documentary Film Festival’. The appointment ceremony honoring the official ambassadors was held on August 20th.

The four members have been involved in various movie and drama activities throughout their careers. In fact, Seulong was appointed as the honorary ambassador for another film festival in the past, the 13th Junju International Film Festival, making this his second time as an ambassador for film.

Regarding the decision to inaugurate the group, Jo Jae Hyun stated, “We believe that 2AM’s healthy and friendly image will hopefully help shed the heavy atmosphere that the DMZ often carries. This year, we aim to bring the festival closer to the public in a more open and communicable way.”

2AM will be officially inaugurated at an official press conference at the end of the month. The festival will start its run from September 21-27th, featuring 110 different films from 30 different countries.
