After her one year hiatus, actress Han Ye Seul will be starring in an 8 billion won ($7 million) movie titled “The Dog.”
In the film, the actress will be portraying a scientist who tries to capture an escaped dog that was infected by an alien. “The Dog” will be directed by Shin Jung Won, whose past works include this year’s “Fortune Tellers” and “To Catch a Virgin Ghost” in 2004.
This will mark Han Ye Seul’s first comeback into the limelight in nearly a year after a scuffle over the drama “Spy Myung Wol”. The scandal surrounding the series was due to Han Ye Seul protesting the treatment of herself and the staff within the Korean entertainment industry.
Meanwhile, “The Dog” also cast Uhm Tae Woong who will play the role of a gangster who dotes after a fighting dog that is infected by a new strand virus.
