Big Bang’s Seungri has successfully completed his first solo fan meetings in Japan.
On August 26th, Seungri had two fan meetings at Shinkiba Studio Coast in Tokyo, Japan, and met up with a great number of local fans. Approximately 80,000 fans applied for a meeting of 9,000 capacity, and it is said that Seungri impressed the fans with his amazing live skill.
To return the gratitude to his devoted fans, Seungri decided to handle the entire event planning of the fan meeting. He performed the song “Heavy Rotation,” which is a hit by the 21-member Japanese girl group AKB48. He also reenacted an emotional scene which took place as member Atsuko Maeda performed with the band for the last time at the Tokyo Dome recently.
Furthermore, fellow BigBang member Daesung also made a surprise appearance as a special guest in the evening.
Meanwhile, Seungri will host another fan meeting event in Osaka on September 9.
