JYJ’s Park Yoochun has been voted the most popular actor at the ‘Seoul Drama Awards 2012’

The Seoul Drama Awards Organization Committee held an online poll asking netizens to determine the winner for the ‘Popularity Award’ and ‘Hallyu Drama Award’ categories of the ceremony. Voting opened for a month online beginning on July 10 and was taken part by some 4 million individuals around the world.

On August 28, the ‘Seoul Drama Awards 2012’ announced that Yoochun has once again claimed the ‘Popularity Award’ as well as winning the ‘Hallyu Drama – Male Actor’ category. His TV series ‘Rooftop Prince’ completed the Triple Crown by ranking first among all series.

‘Hallyu Drama – Female Actress’ award went to Yoochun’s co-star Han Ji Min, while in the category of hallyu drama theme song, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon’s “I Miss You Like Crazy” from MBC’s ‘The King 2Hearts’ won for most popular drama OST.

An awards ceremony will take place on August 30 at the National Theater of Korea in Jangchung-dong, central Seoul.
