Even though he wasn’t nominated for an award, Psy was given a special invitation at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA). At the pre-party, the Korean pop star performed his hit “Gangnam Style” with U.K. boy band The Wanted.

The Wanted introduced Psy, whose single and music video "Gangnam Style" is steadily climbing the music charts, onto the stage at the MTV and Taco Bell’s VMA pre-party show that took place at the Avalon Theater in Hollywood.

The band members of The Wanted even joined Psy and performed his “Gangnam Style” signature dance, which consists of pelvic thrusting, air horse riding moves.
