SHINee member Taemin will be officially releasing his first solo song.

On September 11th, SM Entertainment revealed that Taemin will be the next artist to sing for the OST of ‘To The Beautiful You’. The singer will release his first solo song, “It’s You,” on September 19 at 12PM KST.

“It’s You” will be the theme song for character Eun Gyul (played by Lee Hyun Woo) in the series, and will express his special feelings for Jae Hee (played by f(x)’s Sulli).

Taemin has shown his singing talent through various performances as well as on KBS 2TV’s ‘Immortal Songs 2’. As this will be the first time for him to release a solo song, fans are highly anticipating for it.

Meanwhile, an acoustic version of “Butterfly” by Girls’ Generation’s Jessica and f(x)’s Krystal will be released on the same day.
