Former girl group member Shoo of S.E.S is set to her comeback as a musical actress after four years of hiatus.

According to the entertainer’s agency, Shoo will be starring in the musical, ‘A Revival of the Golden Days’. She will play two characters in the drama, Ji Min and Yoon Hee, in the production set in Japanese colonial times. This will be her latest musical since her role in ‘Singing In the Rain’ back in 2008.

Shoo remarked, “Every time I select a production, I feel a destiny-like gravitation towards it and it was the same for this production too. I feel excited and happy just imagining myself on the stage.”

‘A Revival of the Golden Days’ discusses the life of Suk Joo Myung, an entomologist from the era. The musical will be performed from October 27 until November 11 at the Kepco Art Center in Seocho-dong, southern Seoul.
