With his impending mandatory military enlistment, Super Junior’s Leeteuk will inevitably be leaving his variety programs, “Star King” and “Strong Heart”. The singer has already withdrawn from MBC’s “We Got Married,” which he starred as Kang Sora’s virtual husband.

A producer of “Star King” revealed, “As far as I know, Leeteuk will join the army at the end of October. The last shooting in September will be conducted on September 17, but it might not be the last shooting for Leeteuk.”

“It seems Leeteuk’s last filming date will change as soon as his enlistment date is settled,” he added.

“Strong Heart” PD also stated, The date of his departure hasn′t been confirmed yet. His last recording will be decided with his enlistment period and We haven’t decided who will replace him.”

Following Kang Ho Dong’s departure, Leeteuk took over as host for “Star King.” He has been part of the fixed panel on “Strong Heart” as well since the show’s inception in 2009.
