5dolls Chanmi left the group? More trouble for Kim Kwangsoo.
2012.09.17
After the drama with T-ara's Hwayoung leaving Kim Kwangsoo's group T-ara, now there are speculation that the lead singer of 5dolls, Chanmi (20), has left the group.
5dolls are under GM Contents Media, which is ran independently but still a part of Core Contents Media. The CEO Kwon Sibong has a close relationship with Core Contents Media's CEO Kim Kwangsoo. Recently, it has caught attention that Chanmi was not included on the agency's website on 5dolls' profile page. Hyewon, Eunkyo and T-ara's former member Hwayoung's sister Hyoyoung were included, as well as the new member Han Nayeon, but Chanmi's name was missing from the website.
It may have been an accident by the agency, but on online portal websites, the information has been taken and spreas as fact. Curiosity is still surrounding the issue wondering that GM Contents Media has not announced or changed their website yet. Chanmi originally debuted in Coed School in 2010, but then promoted in their female sub-unit 5dolls in 2011.
5dolls already had to replace a member earlier this year. In Februrary of this year, Soomi left the group for a solo career, and Han Nayeon was decided as her replacement. For Chanmi, a possible candidate is the 4-octave British girl from SBS "Star King" who is a trainee in Core Contents Media currently.
After T-ara's Hwayoung left T-ara, there is also questions as if her twin sister Hyoyoung will leave 5dolls.
