Psy’s worldwide dance craze, “Gangnam Style”, has set another record by breaking 200 million Youtube video views in less than two months!

As of September 18th, “Gangnam Style” music video has racked up 206,494,293 views on Youtube after being released on July. The Korean popstar reached 100 million views on September 4th, and in just 13 days he increased by another 100 million.

To celebrate the feat, Psy posted on his Twitter account, “Got 200 million views !!! Thx everybody!!!”


“Gangnam Style” recently took #64 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, surpassing the Wonder Girls’ record for “Nobody” in 2009. It also reached #1 on the iTunes singles chart, which is the first ever for a Korean song and Korean artist.

In addition, Psy’s “Gangnam Style” has been nominated in the ‘Best Video’ category at 2012 MTV EMA. He will be competing alongside popular artists such as, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, M.I.A and Rihanna.
