KARA’s Jiyoung, B2ST’s Doojoon & MBLAQ’s Lee Joon to join ‘IRIS 2’

KARA’s Jiyoung, B2ST’s Doojoon & MBLAQ’s Lee Joon are reported to have all been cast in the upcoming drama, ‘IRIS 2’.
According to drama officials, Jiyoung, Doojoon and Lee Joon were cast as agents in a team protecting VIPs under South Korea’s National Security Service in the drama.
Jiyoung will play a honest and confident agent character named Song Chae Ran, Doojoon’s character will be a cool agent named Yoon Shi Hyuk, and Lee Joon’s role will be that of a talented password hacker named Kim Ji Hoon.
In addition, actress Im Soo Hyang from the ‘New Tales Of Gisaeng’ will be playing an assassin employed by the Russians.
It has been reported that Jang Hyuk is considering a male lead role, Lee Da Hae is in talks for a femme fatale role, and Daniel Henney is also considering a role in ‘IRIS 2’.
‘IRIS 2’ is expected to air at the beginning of 2013. The storyline will pick up from where the first drama left off: after Lee Byung Hun’s character dies.
