On September 19th, Taewon Entertainment revealed the first casting lineup for the upcoming drama, ‘IRIS 2’.

According to drama officials, actor Jang Hyuk and actress Lee Da Hae has been confirmed for the drama alongside Kim Min Jong, Oh Yeon Soo, Lim Soo Hyang, Kim Young Cheol and Kim Seung Woo.

Jang Hyuk and Lee Da Hae are working together again since the 2010 KBS 2TV mini series, ‘The Slave Hunters’. They were greatly popular for their roles in the drama and swept away the grand prizes at the KBS Acting Awards. In ‘Iris 2’,

Jang Hyuk will play the role of Yoo Gun, who is the chief of NSS TF-A team and Lee Da Hae will be casting as Ji Soo Yeon, who is a pistol shooting gold medalist NSS TF-A team agent.

In addition, Oh Yeon Soo will play as Choi Min, the assistant director of NSS, Lim Soo Hyang will be the female killer and Daniel Henney, who is currently running a project in China, will notify his final decision soon.

Idols KARA’s Jiyoung, B2ST’s Doojoon & MBLAQ’s Lee Joon are reported to have all been cast in the drama as well. ‘Iris 2’ is expected to air at the beginning of 2013.
