Singer Park Hyo Shin has been released from his mandatory military duties.

Park Hyo Shin, who has enlisted on December 2010, was officially discharged from his service on September 24th. He saluted his fans and the press who gathered to greet him in front of the Ministry of Defense in Yongsan.

Some 200 fans gathered for his discharge, with some fans bearing placards and handmade flower necklaces and cake. Rookie group VIXX, his juniors at Jellyfish Entertainment, was also present to greet him. He embraced his juniors, who came to see their senior after his service.

A representative stated, “Park Hyo Shin will embark on recording new albums and hosting concerts, but the firm will help him to take a break for a while.”
