Answer: Hello, Bugs family! This is BTOB with our new song ‘WOW’~

Q. Introduce your new concept for your 2nd mini album [Press Play]
Answer: Our 2nd mini album [Press Play] has a retro image and a style that was popular in the 90’s with a hint of BTOB’s color. Especially our title song ‘WOW’ and ‘I Only Know Love’ has a scent of the 90’s! Outside of that, there are also songs with acoustic genre and an atmosphere where you would want to melt right on that spot. Fans might fall in love with us right away after hearing the songs!



Q. Because all of you guys are born in the 90’s, I don’t think you guys will know 90’s music well. Is there a special reason why you guys chose this genre? 
Eunkwang: Just like fashion, music has certain trends. Us BTOB thought this was the chance to escape from the electronic pop trend and show our colors. We felt that the rhythms were familiar but we put in dance sounds.
Minhyuk: I still remember 90’s songs through my older brother. There’s also a home video of myself dancing to Deux’s song. Watching it again, I think I was cute. I’m trying to familiarize myself more with 90’s music through Bobby Brown.
Sungjae: I’ve been interested in Kim Dong Ryul and Kim Hyun Sik’s songs ever since I was young. I like ballad songs but I’ve also learned there are many great dance songs too. This is how I got into 90’s songs. I also wanted to show everyone that BTOB are idols at a different level.

Q. If BTOB members were to choose their favorite 90’s items?
Eunkwang: Yoyo! I remember I thought yoyos were cool and fun!(^^)
Minhyuk: Rollerskates! At a young age I remember getting hurt and having fun with them.
Changseob: Bangs! (hairstyle)
Peniel: My older sister used to collect Beanie Babies. I collected them with her.
Hyunsik: I saved money to buy a walker-man and listened to music through the tapes.
Ilhoon: Zoom-zoom car? (A board with three handles)
Sungjae: I personally remember collecting figurines.



Q. BTOB’s recommendation of 90’s song?
Eungkwang: GOD’s ‘To My Mother’. It’s a song with a lot of emotion. It’s the best!
Minhyuk: RooRa ‘3!4!’, HOT ‘Light’, Sechs Kies ‘YeGam’, Seo Taji ‘I know’.
Changseob: Yoo SeungJoon ‘I Hope You Find It’ and ‘Passion’.
Peniel: N Sync ‘Bye Bye Bye’
Hyunsik: Sechs Kies ‘Couple’ and Yoo SeungJoon ‘Passion’
Ilhoon: Seo Taji ‘Come Back Home’
Sungjae: Byun Jin Sub senior’s ‘Hope’. I really like the lyrics….ah…there’s no way to describe it. Daebak (bit hit!)

Q. G.NA participated in your album; different from others, they say she supports you guys a lot. How was working with G.Na?
Answer: We received a lot of advice from G.NA and she complimented us a lot throughout the album’s composition. Please work with us again noona (older sister)~

Q. Tell us about your favorite song in the album.
Eunkwang: ‘I Only Know Love’! It’s really addicting. It has a different emotion from ‘WOW’ so I recommend it!
Minhyuk: All the songs are precious but I like our title song ‘WOW’. I think fans will love ‘U&I’.
Changseob: ‘WOW’, ‘I Only Know Love’, ‘My Girl’.
Peniel: I like our title song ‘WOW’ and ‘I Only Know Love’.
Hyunsik: I really like ‘WOW’. There’s no way not to have fun when you’re listening to this song.
Ilhoon: ‘WOW’ is our title song so I’ll eliminate that… I like ‘I Only Know Love’.
Sungjae: ‘U&I’ is the song I recommend. It’s really sweet and it’s a romantic piece.

Q. What kind of BTOB do you want to be in the future?
Answer: Just like coming back with a 90’s genre, we want to be loved by all generations.
