Rookie actor Choi Woo Shik has signed an exclusive contract with Korea’s major talent agency, JYP Entertainment.

JYP Entertainment announced on October 4, “One of the officials at JYPE have fixed their eyes on Choi Woo Shik since he made his debut last year. He showed a strong potential, such as his reliable acting and fluent English skills which led to his casting.”

Choi Woo Sik made his debut through MBC ‘The Duo’ in early 2011 and rose to fame through SBS ‘Rooftop Prince’ with his role of Do Chi San. He is currently appearing in the KBS sitcom, ‘Shut Up Family’ as Yeol Woo Bong.

Meanwhile, Choi Woo Shik will take a minor role in Kim Soo Hyun’s upcoming movie “Covertness,” which is set to begin its four-month shooting in two weeks.
