Actor Yeon Woo Jin’s father recently passed away due to sickness.

Yeon Woo Jin, who is currently filming for the MBC drama ‘Arang and the Magistrate,’ urgently headed to the hospital after hearing the news that his father is in a serious condition. His father has been battling with stomach cancer but his health had suddenly worsened, resulting in his death.

According to a representative, Yeon Woo Jin is currently making preparations for his father’s funeral, which is scheduled to take place on October 8. Fellow casts Lee Jun Ki and Shin Min Ah also hurried to Gangneung in Gangwon to pay respect for the deceased.
