Girl’s Day is coming back as a four-member group with Jihae leaving the group.
According to Dream T Entertainment, “Due to personal reasons, Jihae has left the group prior to Girl’s Day’s upcoming promotions with the release of their next album on October 26th. For the time being, Sojin, Minah, Yura and Hyeri will promote as a four-member group.”
The agency added, “Jihae’s decision was said to come after a long period of contemplation. One of the reasons for her departure is because she wants to focus on her studies. On Jihae’s future, Jihae and the agency will be discussing various options.”
Jihae is currently a student at Sungkyunkwan University majoring in the field of dance.
Meanwhile, Girl’s Day will release their fifth digital single album, ‘Don’t Forget Me’ on October 26th.
